Description
This spectacular ring unites two large obsidian stones in gold-plated settings, creating a dramatic, sculptural composition. The first stone, an emerald cut (20 x 15 mm), shines in a deep, transparent green-black with crisp, faceted edges, while the second, a pointed marquise cut (30 x 10 mm), extends elegantly upwards, catching the light in shimmering reflections. Both gold-plated settings feature delicate prong details and sit atop a wide, polished silver band that effectively echoes the golden luster of the settings.
The symbolism of obsidian: Obsidian protects, grounds, and sharpens the perception of truth. The combination of two different cut shapes – angular and pointed – represents the two sides of strength: perseverance and determination, calmness and assertiveness.
